In volume I we take the therapist through a complete structural assessment and correction criteria of the Thoracolumbar, sacral and pelvic regions. In this course we will address Type I dysfunctions which cause deviations of the spine such as scoliosis, resulting in more than three vertebrae being side bent and rotated
in opposite directions. We will address causative affects of compressed facet joints in scoliosis. We will also address Type II dysfunctions resulting in facet joint closure creating a side bend and rotation of the affected vertebra to the side of closure of the facet.
Other areas addressed are pelvic rotations, upslips
of the SIJ, symphysis pubis misalignment and of course the ten axis of torsion and rotation of the sacrum.
